India aim to shed rust

South Africa started off the ODI series with a thumping win against India on the slow Paarl wicket. Chasing hasn’t been easy at the venue and India found that the hard way against the Proteas. South Africa have odds of 2.06 to win this clash and seal the series.
India, on the other hand, looked pretty rusty in the previous game and have work to do, particularly in the middle-order. KL Rahul might go back down the order with Ruturaj Gaikwad, whose domestic 50-overs form is impressive, opening. India are favourites to win with odds of 1.58 to win.
India still favourites
India have 16 of the 28 ODIs against South Africa in the last decade, and have been formidable against them in recent times, even in South Africa. The loss at Paarl in the first ODI could he attributed to South Africa excelling with one partnership. India are still favourites to win the second ODI.

Temba Bavuma: The skipper is the anchor around which South Africa’s batting revolve. He knocked off his second ODI hundred in the last game and will again be a big wicket for India at this venue in particular.
