Pakistan Super League to resume in 15-day window from June 9
The Pakistan Super League had to be postponed 14 games into the tournament in March when several players contracted the COVID-19 virus. With 20 matches left in the season, the remainder of the season was pushed to June when Pakistan hoped to resume the matches, but it still had to be moved to UAE, which also seemed to appear a gloomy prospect until cleared off by authorities.

How do the teams stand?
The points table was still shaping up when the tournament was cancelled in March. Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United were on six points apiece when the league was called off. Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators are on two points each.
Karachi Kings, the defending champions, are at the top of the table owing to a superior net run rate.
When is the resumption?
The PSL is set to resume from June 9 with the tournament final to be played on the 24th of the month. Qualifier and eliminator stages will be held on June 21 and June 22 before the finals on 24th. The matches will resume according to the previous schedule with Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United set to play the first match since resumption.
What are the odds?
The outright odds have Lahore Qalandars as favourites with Karachi Kings a close second. Quetta Gladiators, who were at the bottom of the table before the season was postponed, are the underdogs for winning the title.
