Mumbai looking to recover from early stumble
Sunrisers Hyderabad have had a horror start to IPL 2021. They lost their first game to Kolkata Knight Riders on a surface aligned in their favour and against Royal Challengers Bangalore, they messed up everything from the toss to the run chase. Against a strong line-up like Mumbai, Sunrisers have their task cut out and have odds of 2.15 to win in Chennai.
Mumbai had a shocker against RCB first up but produced a stunning come-from-behind win against Kolkata in the next game to come out on top and make a late start to the season. Against SRH, Mumbai will be backing themselves to win. They have odds of 1.62 to beat Hyderabad.

Overall and recent records level for MI and SRH
Sunrisers Hyderabad are one of the rare sides to have troubled Mumbai over the years. They have won as many games as they have lost against Mumbai (eight) and even have three wins in the last three seasons, as many as Mumbai Indians.
RECOMMENDED BET: Mumbai Indians have the stronger line-up for the Chepauk wicket and have odds of 1.62 to beat the SRH side.
This season, both sides haven’t quite peaked so far and will be hoping to step up the gas as the competition warms up. In 2020 IPL, both sides one each of the two head to head contests. SRH are yet to win a game in Chepauk after five attempts.
Keep an eye on…
Rashid Khan: The Afghanistan spinner is all the rage with his mix of variations in this Chepauk wicket and Mumbai will be wary of him too. They have the batting firepower to take him on, but will they choose to preserve wickets and play him out?
Jasprit Bumrah: The Sunrisers Hyderabad line-up is to Jasprit Bumrah’s liking. The middle-order is soft and will be exposed once the top order is sent back. Bumrah thrives against such line-ups and might just have a bumper game.
TIP: Jasprit Bumrah in the death overs remains a dangerous weapon and has odds of 11.00 to win the Player of the Match award.
