MI look to continue their winning momentum while RR seek a turnaround
It’s the table-toppers Mumbai Indians (MI) taking on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 20th match of the Indian Premier League’s 2020 edition. MI have won three games and all three have been in convincing fashion. Meanwhile, after two back to back wins, RR have lost two on the bounce. They square off at Abu Dhabi which has had sporting pitches so far.
Mumbai Indians seem to have everything in place at the moment. Quinton de Kock finally came to the party in the last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad and now, they have the entire batting line-up firing. They boast of a strong middle-order with the likes of Kieron Pollard and the Pandya brothers in full flow. With the ball, the experienced fast bowling trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult and James Pattinson have delivered the goods. They will be favourites and have the odds of 1.64 to make it three wins in a row.
Rajasthan Royals’ top-order looks solid. However, it’s their middle-order that is a cause of concern. There are some young guns and have shown promise but it’ll be interesting to see if they can deliver consistently. The bowling has blown hot and cold and they will want to get better at it. RR will be less favorable to pull off a win with the odds of 2.20 but don’t count them out.

Overall record highly in favour of MI
Overall, the head to head record between the teams isn’t something that is really stressed upon by a lot of teams going into a game. However, in 20 matches, both MI and RR have won 10 games each.
RECOMMENDED BET: MI have the better bowling attack this season and have odds of 1.64 to sneak in a win.
This season, both teams are at the top of the points table with six points each after four games. Both have won thrice and lost just once. Recent record also favours Delhi as they have a 2-0 record against RCB since 2019.
Keep an eye on…
Jos Buttler: The England wicket-keeper batsman has had a pretty unusual start to the 2020 season. Buttler has scored just 47 runs in three innings and his form has affected RR pretty badly. Thus, he will desperate to turn things around and get back to his run-scoring best.
Kieron Pollard: The hard-hitting West Indian all-rounder has been striking the ball beautifully. He has just become a nightmare to bowl to, especially at the death. Pollard has already smashed 13 sixes while amassing 163 runs and he has been dismissed just once so far.
TIP: Mumbai Indians have some big six-hitters and have odds of 1.86 to hit more sixes than Rajasthan Royals.
