Delhi Capitals aim to get the XI right
Delhi Capitals will be buoyed by the fact that they have Anrich Nortje back in the setup with his test coming back with three negatives. Against a a line-up like Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals will be boosted by the pace attack they have and have odds of 1.68 to win again in Mumbai.
Punjab Kings had a shocker of a game against Chennai Super Kings where they struggled to get past the powerplay and as a result succumbed to a big loss. Against a strong bowling attack like Delhi, they will be wary of the same. They have their task cut out though with Nortje back and have odds of 2.05 to beat DC.

Overall record favour Punjab Kings
Punjab Kings have 15 wins against Delhi Capitals as against 11 wins for the opposition. The KL Rahul-led side has been pretty decent in recent times against Delhi despite the opposition becoming more strong over the last couple of years. Since 2019, the two sides have two wins apiece in head to head contests.
RECOMMENDED BET: Punjab have a strong batting line-up and one loss will not deter them. They are better placed to beat DC despite the odds of 2.05 not really going in their favour.
This season, Delhi have struggled to nail their best XI while Punjab Kings have stood out with their usage of youngsters. Will the trend continue?
Keep an eye on…
Nicholas Pooran: The left-hander had a stupendous season in 2020 with the bat but will be up against it with Delhi having bowlers to counter his strengths. Can the left-hander break free in his new role down the order?
Dhawan – Shaw: Two players who can attack from the word go gives Delhi a massive advantage on a flat Mumbai wicket against a fairly inexperienced (in IPL) Punjab Kings bowling line-up. If they can give Delhi a resounding start, Punjab will find it tougher.
TIP: KL Rahul is as consistent as they come and have odds of 8.00 to win the Player of the Match award.
