Can New Zealand do it again?
India faced New Zealand last month in the build up to the 2022 Women’s World Cup and lost the series 1-4, losing each of the first four ODIs. With recent form not going their way, India have their task cut out with chances at 2.31 to win this game.
New Zealand, on the other hand, were beaten by West Indies first up in an upset loss and then nearly had a scare against Bangladesh, before they hit top gear and won it comfortably. They will take confidence from the recent series win against India. NZ have odds of 1.52 to win this one.
Recent form with New Zealand
The ODI series before the World Cup was a test for either teams to see how their preparations for the big event were going. While New Zealand aced the challenge, India came up second best and in similar conditions, their challenge will be huge against the hosts.
RECOMMENDED BET: New Zealand have odds of 1.52 to win this 2022 Women’s ODI World Cup game with a strong batting and bowling group making them favourites.
Overall, India and New Zealand have faced each other in 53 Women’s ODIs with New Zealand winning 32 of them and India winning 20. Since the end of the last ODI World Cup in 2017, India have won three and lost five to New Zealand.
Keep an eye on…
