You bet on one team to win at odds of 1.74 and another team to win at 1.58. You combine these selections into one double bet and you get the odds multiplied: 1.74 x 1.58 = 2.76. So if you bet ₹100, you’ll get ₹276 in return.
Now – let’s say, you decide to place two single bets rather than a multiple one. Separately, you bet ₹50 on 1.74 and the other ₹50 on 1.58. That earns you ₹87 and ₹79, respectively, or ₹166 in total. You see? That’s ₹115 LESS than what you would have won had you placed your selections as one combo bet!
